Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow
According to the Farmer’s Almanac, heavy snow is expected in Colorado and the Rockies over the holiday season in late December, but we received our first real snow of the winter season yesterday. Some reports say 12″ on the top of Snowmass Mountain while the city of Aspen received 5″ of the fluffy white stuff.
Our country has experienced many changes in these past months, but some things don’t change. The skies will still be blue, the snow will still be white, and Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley will always welcome vacationers and locals alike.
We recommend that you take advantage of some great offers for early bookings if a trip to Aspen is on the schedule for this winter season. On-line vacation reservation sites, like Stay Aspen Snowmass and Ski.com, are offering steep discounts and shorter minimum stays for people who book now.
Aspen & Snowmass Mountains open November 27th (Thanksgiving Day) and Aspen Highlands & Buttermilk open December 13th. We hope to see you for some great skiing this season!
