Sardy House Christmas Tree Lighting
The 24th Annual Sardy House Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will be held Sunday, December 7th at 6:00pm at 128 E. Main Street in Aspen. This is one of Aspen’s most cherished holiday traditions, celebrated by locals and tourists alike. 10,000 LED lights will make this year’s tree lighting the most spectacular in history! The lighting is compliments of Sardy House owneres John & Selene Devaney.
Children can meet Santa & Mrs. Claus and hot chocolate and christmas cookies will be served. Come view one of the largest Christmas Trees in the country and enjoy performances by The Dickens Carolers, Franz Aldefer of ACT’s Chicago, Aspen Middle School Band, Aspen Middle School Choir and Waldorf School Children’s Choir.
Originally constructed in 1892, the Sardy House is an exquisite Queen Anne Victorian that has been home to some of Aspen’s most-renowned leaders and historical figures. This property elegantly blends stately charm from another era with contemporary decor and amenities. Once listed by Joshua & Co. for $21.5 Million, this historic Aspen home and carriage house is currently off the market.
