Aspen Snowmass Ski Areas Going High Tech
Wouldn’t it be great if there were no lift lines while skiing? Or at least no waiting in line while someone scans each pass? Aspen Skiing Company agrees, and they have introduced the newest in ski ticket technology to the local ski areas.
Ski any of the four Aspen Snowmass ski areas and there are new gates at the base of most lifts. These gates allow skiers and snowboarders to walk through the gate even if their pass is in their pocket! This product has been used in the European ski market, but only a handful of ski resorts in North America are using this new technology.
