Aspen Food & Wine Festival – A la Carte

Aspen will once again be hosting the Food & Wine Classic this June 18-20. To increase attendance, organizers of the have added several “a la carte” options, meaning thatcertain happenings are accessible to those who may not have purchased a pass for the entire weekend.

For the first time, the finale for the Grand Cochon —10 chefs, 10 pigs and 10 wines — will take place in Aspen and locals or day trippers may gain admission for $125. For more information, go to www.cochon555.com.

Also, a limited number of day passes for the Grand Tasting Tents will be available for Friday or Saturday, for $295.

Two other events will be accessible to pass-holders willing to spend a little more. For an additional $250, pass-holders may attend Saturday’s Best New Chefs Dinner. The event will feature 10 chefs from around the country showing their skills at the Aspen Meadows Resort. Similarly, for wine lovers, the Reserve Wine Tastings will be open to pass-holders for an additional $200-$250, depending on the tasting.
