A new restaurant will open in Aspen on May 20th, very apropo since the restaurant is named 520 Grill.  Wheaton Augur and Troy Selby have teamed up to bring Aspen a “healthy” burger joint located one block from the Silver Queen Gondola.

Both partners have local experience when it comes to the food business. Augur is an Aspen native and has been working as a private chef.  Selby hales from Vermont and has worked in local restaurants in many different capacities, including chef at The Cantina.

520 Grill is going to be a true burger joint with hand-crafted burgers, hot dogs, and fresh-cut fries. A soon-to-be famous entree is the bacon burger, where the bacon is actually ground into the burger meat. It will also cater to the healthier eating habits of locals and visitors with a selection of fresh salads and different flavors of meat, such as buffalo and turkey.

Open daily from 11am-7pm for lunch and dinner, 520 Grill is located in the new Fat City Plaza near Pitkin County Dry Goods.
