Aspen’s Cos Bar Partners with Target

Lily Garfield, founder of Cos Bar in Aspen and eleven other locations around the country, gave a dynamic presentation to the Aspen Rotary Club last week. Lily spoke about starting a retail store in Aspen in 1976 and and how she grew her business to now include an exciting collaboration with Target.  Cos Bar for Target will launch May 6th for 6 weeks, and will be part of “The Shops at Target”, bringing national attention to the Cos Bar and to Aspen, Colorado.  A new brand was created for this collaboration with Target.  The concept will feature boutique shops within 1800 Target stores, with the concept being  if a Target consumer can’t come to a place like Aspen, Miami Beach, or New York City, they can still get luxury at an affordable price.  Other stores featured include The Polka Dog Bakery in Boston, which sells pet food and accessories, and The Webster in Miami, which sells clothing.     Click Here to view an “Introducing the Shops at Target” video.  (more…)
