The Governator Goes Bear Hunting In Aspen, CO

A large group of Aspen’s second homeowners are from California. Now, a “local” Aspenite has found a home in California. Govenor Arnold Schwarzenegger came to Aspen in March on a work/leisure trip, and went home with a BIG memento.

The Aspen Art Museum may be expanding and moving to a new home.  In July the Aspen Art Museum announced the selection of Shigeru Ban Architects to design a new 30,000 square foot Aspen Art Museum (the current space is 7,000 square feet) that may be built as part of the Zupancis-Galena redevelopment.  (more…)

Part of the charm of Aspen is the ability to walk everywhere in the town! The entire Central Core of Aspen is only a 5-block radius.
